Most restaurants print and display QR codes that, in turn, link to digital copies of their menu as a way to eliminate a touchpoint and the cost and waste of single use paper menus during the coronavirus pandemic.
Nearly all mobile devices with a camera are compatible with QR codes — and all customers have to do is open their camera or QR scanner app, point the camera at the code and it will open the link automatically in the device’s default mobile browser.
Using mobile friendly and PDF menus typically doesn’t require the customer to download any additional apps.

Yes. Our goal is to help restaurants get through the COVID-19 and coronavirus pandemic so this service is free.
The easiest way is to visit your restaurant website and navigate to where you menu is posted. Copy and paste the link that appears in the browser. If you have PDF versions of your menus, we recommend clicking those links on your site to open them and make sure the file ends in “.pdf” and using that URL.
If you don’t have your menu uploaded online, there are a variety of free services that can do this for you. We recommend pCloud and Dropbox. Google Drive is another good option. You’ll then want to follow the upload instructions (pCloud, Dropbox, Google) and how to share a file publicly with viewing only permissions (pCloud, Dropbox, Google).
